Last night (the 17th of August) we had our final preview before heading to Edinburgh. It was in Dempseys in Cardiff (a big thank you to them for letting us use the room upstairs) and we had a good crowd in of about 25 people. The show itself went quite well - a few things to tidy up but lets face it - we don't want to peak too soon!! It was the first time that we've used the new set and it felt good - thank you to Katie who has done a great job for us. God bless those people who have sat through the play a number of times now, we really appreciate your support and comments.
From a personal point of view, it was quite intimidating to walk out in front of an audience of friends and family - I think I knew 95% of the people there. It was good preperation for the Fringe and I doubt I'll feel that intimidated again!!
It is strange to think that maybe, just maybe we have done the show for the final time in Wales (I doubt this as Al and I get on really well and I'm sure that during one of our many 'quiet times' in the next few years, we'll get together for one last, last, last and final hurrah! I can already hear the groans from our loyal followers.) But we hope that - for now - Wales' loss is Scotlands gain. So to Edinburgh, in the morning, so I must get to bed, long drive tomorrow, the next blog will be from the Fringe! How exciting!
Til then, it is a lovely day.

P.S. I met one of the two people who have read the blog last night! Congratulations! Your 'Richard Parker' cuddly toy is in the post!! Please keep reading! Nos da x
